What we collect

Comments

If you leave a comment on an article, the text of the comment becomes visible to other visitors once it's approved. Comments are reviewed before publishing to filter spam and abuse. We don't require real names, and we recommend not including any personal contact details in a comment, since it becomes public once approved.

Cookies and analytics

The site may use basic, privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which articles are read, roughly how many visitors, which categories are popular — so we can decide what to write next. This is used in aggregate, not to build individual profiles of visitors. We don't run third-party advertising trackers.

What we don't do

We don't sell visitor data to third parties.
We don't require sign-up, email or personal information to read the site.
We don't share comment content beyond what's already visible on the public page.

Changes to this page

If how we handle visitor information changes in a meaningful way, we'll update this page to reflect it rather than change our practices silently. This is a general information site, not one that requires financial, health or other sensitive personal data — if that ever changes, this page will be updated well in advance.
