Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure

This page explains how Everyday AI Lab is funded and how that relationship is kept separate from what we write.

Current status

At this stage, Everyday AI Lab does not run third-party display advertising and does not use paid affiliate or referral links in its articles. If that changes in the future, this page will be updated to describe exactly which kinds of links or placements are in use, and any affected article will carry its own note as well — disclosure will happen at the point where it matters, not buried only here.

What would never change

  • Reviews and comparisons reflect our actual assessment of a tool, not how much (if anything) we might earn from a link to it.
  • A tool is never given a more favorable rating, or a competitor a less favorable one, because of a commercial relationship.
  • Any sponsored or paid content, if we ever accept it, will be clearly labeled as such within the article itself, not disguised as an independent review.
  • Any future paid placement or affiliate relationship will be disclosed in the article where it applies, in plain language, not in fine print.

Editorial independence

Product coverage decisions are made by the same editorial process described on our Editorial Policy page, independent of any advertising or affiliate considerations described here.

Why we publish this now, before it applies

We would rather set the standard before there's any money involved than write the policy after the fact. If you ever read an article here and suspect a recommendation is influenced by something other than our honest assessment, please say so in the comments — that kind of scrutiny is exactly what keeps a disclosure policy meaningful instead of decorative.

Questions

If anything on this page is unclear, or you want to know whether a specific article involves a commercial relationship, leave a comment on that article and we'll clarify.
